Fly Zipline’s primary product, Zip, is a small robot airplane designed for a high level of safety, similar to commercial airliners. It can carry vaccines, medicine, or blood. This technology is as valuable in emerging nations as it is in developed countries. A fleet of Zips can provide for a population of millions. No roads, no problem! In partnership with the Government of Rwanda, Zipline will deliver all blood products for 20 hospitals and health centers starting this summer, improving access to healthcare for millions of Rwandans. With Zip’s unprecedented range, national-scale coverage is achievable from a single home base. Zipline will deliver a wide range of medical products in other countries this year.
