HARMONY AT THE PLUG AND PLAY TECHCENTER

Harmony Venture Partners introduces a delegation from Botswana to Plug and Play Tech Center California’s model technology incubator.
Seena Amidi, Business Development at Plug and Play Tech Center, introduced the delegation to the exciting world of startups in Silicon Valley.
Harmony Venture Partners made it possible for a team from Botswana, which included the Consul General and the head of the Botswana Development Corporation, to get a guided tour of Plug and Play Tech Center, a global innovation platform for startups, corporations, and investors. Every year, Plug & Play reviews 4,000 startups, invest in over 100, and runs 300+ industry-specific accelerator programs. Plug & Play provides investments alongside 180 leading Silicon Valley VC partners, and helps 30 corporate partners to license, pilot, and co-invest. Startups in the Plug and Play community have raised over $3.5 billion in funding. The tour organized by Harmony Venture Partners gave the delegation an opportunity to discuss Plug & Play’s unique model for an Innovation Center. They were also able to hear three Silicon Valley start-ups give presentations on their exciting new technologies and meet with companies that are being incubated and innovating technologies relevant to Botswana.
